Locally known as Sashisen Rajar Dhibi, the Moghalmari structural mound is believed to be one of the temples mentioned by Chinese pilgrim Yijing (I Tsing, I Ching, originally named Zhang Wen Ming) who traveled from China, Srivijaya, to Nalanda in the 7th century.
